On Sunday May 30 the Workers Club plays host to LOVE IS BLINDSIDE, a benefit gig and rent party for Melbourne CBD artist-run space Blindside. Blindside is one of Melbourne's most established artist-run initiatives and is threatened by a recent rent rise at its home of the Nicholas Building on Swanston Street.

LOVE IS BLINDSIDE will include performances by pop wonders The Motifs, Geoffrey O'Connor (formerly known as Sly Hats, currently the singer and songwriter of Crayon Fields), future-retro popsters Magic Silver White (featuring both Cornel 'Qua' Wilczek and everyone from Mountains In The Sky), free-rock trio Battlesnake, and Jared Davis's pop project Far Concern. DJ sets from Rainbow Connection and a tag-team of Qua and Clue to Kalo.
