Blindside is a light-filled space in the Nicholas Building, located in Flinders Lane, on the corner of Swanston Street. The gallery is on the seventh floor facing out over Federation Sqare and Flinders Street Station. The exhibition space is forty square metres with a ceiling height of 3.40 metres. The long wall of the gallery is MDF and all other walls and floor are concrete.

Exhibitions are of three weeks duration and the total cost of exhibiting is $780. A deposit will be required on confirmation of exhibition booking with the balance to be paid prior to installation.

The cost of exhibiting includes media release, room brochure, line listing in Art Almanac, assistance with installation, two electronic mailouts of exhibition invitations and a photographic documentation of each exhibition provided on CD. The invitation is designed to gallery format and exhibitors may provide additional email addresses to be temporarily added to the electronic mail out.

Exhibitions are open from 12 noon to 6 pm Thursday to Saturday. Committee members and exhibiting artists will be responsible for sitting the space during opening hours . Openings are on the first Thursday night of the exhibition period from 6-8pm.
